LUFAN SHI
Lufan Shi is an acclaimed Production Designer and producer based in Sydney, with a Master's in Film and Television Art Direction from the Australian Film, Television and Radio School.
As a member of the Australian Production Design Guild (APDG), she has been nominated twice for the APDG EMERGING DESIGNER FOR A SCREEN PRODUCTION AWARD for her work on "Occam’s Razor" (2022) and "The Method" (2024).

Lufan's notable projects include producing and designing a fashion film for Valentino Beauty's Rosso Lipstick launch in China (2022) and the fashion film "Unicorn Symposium," which premiered at Melbourne International Fashion Week and the London Fashion Film Festival (2023).

Recently, she contributed to the long-form vertical web series "Awakening Rejected Mate," "Seducing My Sister's Boyfriend," and produced "Bound to the Wrong Mafia." She also executive produced and prod designed the upcoming series "Scrubs Heartbeat."

Her most recent feature film as Production Designer, The Cost, is a psychological revenge drama directed by Matthew Holmes (The Legend of Ben Hall, Twin Rivers) and released in 2023.

In addition to her own projects, Lufan has had the privilege of working alongside renowned art director Jacinta Leong (Mad Max: Fury Road, Moulin Rouge!) as on set VFX assistant on George Miller's highly anticipated film, Furiosa.
